2024-ONGOING

AÇEV-ölçülü_edited.png

An impact study is currently being conducted to evaluate the effects of the Early Childhood Education Program (ECEP) implemented by AÇEV. This study compares children participating in the program with a control group of non-participating children who share similar demographic characteristics, utilizing various measurement techniques.

To ascertain the gains children achieve and the changes they experience as a result of the program, data is collected from both the participating and non-participating children before (pre-test) and after (post-test) the program period. This method enables a comparison of outcomes between the two groups, thereby providing data on the benefits of the ECEP, its strengths, and areas for improvement.

The research is being carried out in three provinces severely affected by the earthquake on February 6, 2023 (Hatay-Defne, Gaziantep-Nurdağı, and Adıyaman), as well as in Diyarbakır.
